  • 20 years of gardening experience in the Pacific Northwest
  • Degrees in Botany and Biology and Master of Education from the U.W.
  • 3 years seasonal work experience in a local nursery
  •  
    Certified Master Gardener Veteran Status - trained in March 2009
  • Certified Professional Horticulturist - licensed in October 2009
  • Enrolled at Lake Washington Technical College - Environmental Horticulture Department classes taken; Landscape Design, Plant ID

Growth of
Gardens Alive Design:
 
     Working from home in rural Duvall, WA this grassroots business was started from my own love of gardening. 
 
     After designing gardens for friends in exchange for a cup of coffee a few years ago, a step towards a garden design and coaching business is not only in keeping with my beliefs of sustainability but also my belief of supporting and educating others. 
 
     My own ambition to learn and help others along the way has led me to this path in the garden and has become the germination of
Gardens Alive Design.
